A striking variations exists with the Mirkwood Legolas from the Australian Funtastic Assortment of The Fellowship Of The Ring Trilogy Assortment. Not only is this version released without the bow string to adhere to safety regulations, but this version also includes arrows that are clearly visible within the packaging. 

The arrows are remolded with fat arrow heads in order to avoid injury unlike some of the earlier arrows released with other characters that had more sharper tips. This example has not been found in any other packaging. The example shown has a Date Stamp of 35204.
