UNRELEASED - HALDIR

As shown in Toy Biz 2002 Catalog. "HALDIR with Sword-Slashing Action!".

Featured here is the hard copy of Haldir with Sword-Slashing Action that briefly featured in the Toy Biz 2002 Catalog. 

Haldir would have been one of the early release figures, but was cut once they decided to go away from the cost effective sword swipe motion that the 2 piece torso involved. Sculpted by the talented Michael Norman, who is said to have reworked this character from a 2 piece torso to a single piece, it was ultimately cancelled.

A version of Haldir would of course be later released using a different sculpt and released as part of a HELM'S DEEP BATTLE SET.
