Sacrificing himself to save the Fellowship in the Mines of Moria, Gandalf is believed lost when he falls into the abyss with the Balrog. Unbeknownst to all, the duel that began on the bridge was, however, far from over. Falling for an impossibly long time, Gandalf and the great demon fight as they plunge, the righteous light of the wizard pitted against the consuming fire and enveloping shadow of this most mighty of ancient evils.
