This is the original wax bust that Dave Cortes sculpted, which became the Toy Biz Cave Troll we love. He is accompanied by a rubber rotocast test shot head. This is pretty cool, as it was never painted and never rotted like most of the trolls on the shelf. This particular head was used by the research and development team in order to develop another unproduced figure's breadboard. More on that later.. I took some detailed pics, so you can see how a rotocast head looks inside. Also, here is a large internal photo of the Cave Troll prototype.
