The man behind the merchandise is here! John Mayo was one of the driving forces behind the Lord of the Rings licenses. As Senior Vice President of Creative and Product Development, John saw every idea start out as a concept and followed it through to its inception. This includes his own likeness for the Toy Biz Minas Tirith Citadel Guard!
John Mayo held many different titles during his long career with New Line Cinema and Warner. From LOTR to the Hobbit films, he oversaw all products and gives great insight on those wonderful days working in the industry. I sat down with John to ask some questions.
