This piece is very unique and extremely delicate. It is the earliest prototype version for the Electronic Sound and Action Treebeard.

It is made from a solid EVA type foam, and would have been created to allow the artist visualise the Treebeard prior to sculpt. 

This prototype has the removable braches, but 2 instead of 3.

As a result this prototype is very important to the history of this toy.
