The EARLY Pippin vs. Ugluk Twin Pack has a distinctive error on the card action feature instructions.

Three versions of this Twin Pack can be found:

Version 1: Early feature printed instruction error “Ugluk sword in both hands”.

Version 2: This error would be corrected with an interim solution of stickers.

Version 3: The stickers would later be replaced with a correctly printed instruction release.

The first error is that the "sword" is to be placed in both hands.  While possible, that was not the intention of the  action feature.  This would be corrected with a stickered version.  One of the "sword" words was replaced with "whip" on a  sticker placed over the original instructions.

The second error is in  the second set of instructions for Ugluk.  The title is "1a" and should  be "1b".  Again this was initially corrected with the sticker version.

The first release would be later corrected with stickers to cover the misprint.  There are not many of the sticker version that can be found as Toy Biz corrected the box instruction to read: “left hand sword/right hand whip on all future releases.  

So it is possible to be 3 variations of this pack.
