An often overlooked and sometimes difficult to identify variation exists with the Legolas from the early assortment of The Fellowship Of The Ring. 

This initial Legolas release was released with a very different sculpted right hand that had a "peg" in the middle of the hand to hold the dagger. 

A striking variation indeed when compared together with the regular more common version of the figure. 

A more indepth discussion of this version can be found in the rarities section but is now referred to by collectors as Pegolas.
