UNRELEASED - SUPER POSEABLE FRODO (ORIGINAL VERSION)

A keen observer would have noticed that the production release Super Poseable Frodo Item No: 81449 is different to what was shown on the packaging sticker, and stock photography for this figure.

That is because they have a completely different torso sculpt. The original as pictured in the photography is shown with suspenders and a shirt.  Whereas the one released wears a vest and ring on a chain. 

The head sculpt may also be slightly different to that of the production version as well.

Questions that remain to be answered are: 

Why did this change occur?

Were any production examples of the original version released to the public?

Chances are Toy Biz changed the figure sculpt before it went into production, but retained the original photography for the packaging.

The orignal unreleased Super Poseable Frodo survives as a hard copy.
