UNRELEASED - DELUXE - BALROG

Two versions of the Balrog were prototyped over the course of 4 years by Toy Biz. The first which was also to be of larger scale was not accepted by retailers, due to size and cost. 

The first "BALROG Light-Up Eyes and Authentic Sound and Action!" was featured in the Toy Biz 2002 Catalog.

Toy Biz then attempted a second scaled down version of the Balrog without the electronic and basic features. This smaller version would have been released as part of the DELUXE POSEABLE line from the Return of the King.

Sadly, the DELUXE BALROG was never released and was cancelled by Toy Biz.
