This figure is unique in several ways, and is accepted as being part of the overall packaged collection rather than an error or variation. 

1. The assigned item number clashes with the trilogy FOTR Elrond of Rivendell who is correctly assigned ITEM NO 31436.  The bar code at the back of this character is also assigned to Elrond of Rivendell.

2. This figure was released in other markets in the correct Blue trilogy square card under the ROTK title. 

3. Only found with the CE STE 3LZ sticker on the back which is attributed to the UK market.
