Ancient beyond reckoning, Treebeard the Ent is one of the last of the dwindling and long-forgotten tree shepards of Fangorn Forest. After an eternity of slumber, Treebeard persuades the Ents, a wise, mighty, and contemplative people, to join Merry and Pippin in the fight against the darkness threatening their world.
